BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

We run well organised progressive courses which we consider to be fun and beneficial to good health.
However, we take health and safety and quality seriously, and continually update our knowledge and skills.

Our Responsibilities

  • To run well balanced, high quality courses which are safe, effective and easy to follow.

  • To provide useful Handouts and links to help your learning.

  • To help class members to ‘catch up’ if session(s) are missed.

  • Continue to develop our skills to meet requirements for Professional Instructor Membership.

  • Carry out Risk Assessments as required.

  • Keep our records private and confidential and comply with General Data Protection Regulations.

  • To seek your permission before taking photographs and videos, and gain your consent to use them on our publications.

Your Responsibilities

  • To be medically fit, independently mobile (without the use of a walking aid within the class) and able to participate without assistance in the classes.

  • If you have any concerns about your health, please have a check up with your Doctor before commencing.

  • To consult your Doctor if you have any changes in your health, during the course, as we do not give any medical advice.

  • To give us any feedback, or raise any concerns if you have any, as soon as possible.

  • To provide us with an emergency contact in the event of an incident.

Payment

We structure our payments on many costs such as room hire, training, insurance, professional membership, materials & equipment, first aid training and so on.  We also work as a team (i.e. 2 Instructors for all classes) which has many advantages but adds to our expenses.  However, we consider that our courses are good value for money.

  • We accept payment by cash, cheque or bank transfer (BACS) and usually only take the payment at the beginning of a course.  Receipts are provided.

  • 5 week courses - payment in full on commencement of the course.

  • 10 week courses - payment in full, or the option to pay in 2 instalments (i.e. half the total cost on commencement of the course, and the remaining half payable on week 6).

  • We offer discount to couples attending the same course (10 week courses only) of buy one and get the second half price.

  • Please note, we do not have a ‘pay weekly’ system.

  • We always consider individuals needs especially where ill health and personal problems make attendance difficult.  This is on an individual basis.

  • We occasionally make arrangements for a newcomer to attend a taster session.  These are charged at the cost of an individual session and are not free.

  • If you have any concerns about the payment, please discuss with us.
